This involves understanding different cultural norms and practices and how they might influence safeguarding. Additionally, it is essential that this mission aligns with core values such as respect, integrity, and compassion, ensuring that safeguarding policies and practices embody these principles.

Liz is dedicated to child safeguarding and child rights, and this has extended across various environments, including educational, recreational, and care settings.  

With nearly 20 years of experience in Inclusion & Diversity, Liz ensures that safeguarding practices are culturally sensitive and take into account the diverse backgrounds of young people. 

Her expertise lies in developing safeguarding policies that offer equitable protection to all children, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, disability, or other factors, affirming every child's right to safety and protection.  

Liz’s training covers safeguarding principles, establishing culturally safe environments and inclusion, and provides guidance for organisations on recognising and addressing the unique needs of children and young people from diverse backgrounds.
